When it comes to network performance, our Fiber and Cat6A testing ensures every connection is clean, strong, and ready to support your growth. No guesswork. No tech jargon. Just solutions that actually work—so you can move forward with confidence.

Camera systems built on solid cabling

A camera system is only as reliable as the cable, network and power behind each camera. As a low-voltage contractor, we install the cameras and the infrastructure they depend on.

Verkada and traditional recorder systems

As an authorized Verkada dealer, we install Verkada's cloud-managed cameras, which store video on each camera and are managed from a web browser or phone app. We also install systems that record to an on-site recorder. Each fits different businesses; see our Verkada page for how they compare.

Power and cabling

Most business IP cameras draw their power through the same network cable that carries their video, known as Power over Ethernet. Large bundles of cables carrying higher-power PoE, such as pan-tilt-zoom cameras with heaters or Wi-Fi access points, run warm, and Cat6A sheds that heat better.

Keep cameras from becoming a back door

A camera is a small computer that stays connected to your network around the clock. Unique passwords, current firmware, no open ports for remote viewing and keeping cameras on their own network go a long way. Read our guide to closing that back door.

FAQ

IP cameras for businesses, including Verkada cloud-managed cameras as an authorized Verkada dealer, and camera systems that record to an on-site recorder. The right type depends on what each camera needs to see, indoors or out, day or night.

Yes. Verkada cameras are viewed through Verkada Command from a web browser or phone without opening ports on your router. Recorder-based systems can be viewed remotely too, and that access should be set up safely, without port forwarding.

Yes. Outdoor cameras are rated for the weather they face, and outdoor cable runs need surge protection, especially with Florida’s summer thunderstorms.

It depends on the number of cameras, the building and how much new cable is needed. Ask us for a schedule estimate when we quote your system.

We do not install or service alarm systems. Some camera systems can share events with alarm equipment, so ask your alarm company what yours supports, and we can tell you what the camera side can do.

Verkada cameras record to their own onboard storage, with most standard models holding about 30 days and larger-storage models offered for 60, 90, 120 or 365 days, plus optional cloud backup. With a recorder, how long footage is kept depends on the number of cameras, their settings and the drive space installed.

Outdoor cameras are built for outdoor use; check each model’s weather rating for where it will be mounted. The cable and connections feeding them need protecting too, including surge protection.

Yes, we offer routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Yes, we can expand your current system to cover more of your property, as long as the recorder or platform supports the added cameras.

Yes. Equipment is covered by its manufacturer’s warranty, and we warrant our labor for one year.
